One of the questions that we regularly get asked is – How do I research companies on the NZX?
Here at Woodward Partners we are going to focus on a couple of companies each week and show you where to get information about them. This isn’t going to be valuation analysis – but links to information about those companies.
We are going to start with the company that is currently has the largest market capitalisation on the NZX – Fletcher Building (stock-code FBU).
Fletcher Building (FBU)
If you look at the major on-line finance sites searching for New Zealand companies you will find some information – but it is pretty limited. For example Fletcher Building on Yahoo Finance and Google Finance. With any international finance site – if you are researching New Zealand companies use the NZX stock-ticker with the “.nz” suffix attached (for example FBU.NZ).
A good starting point for any company is their own website – Fletcher Building. There you will details about the company and some financial information.
